# Starting processing

> A protocol with a transcript, or a transcript only.

Uploading does not start processing. Once [`info/`](/en/api-reference/audio/info) returns `is_uploaded: true`, call one of the two requests.

| Request | What you get |
| - | - |
| [`POST /api/audio/classify/`](/en/api-reference/processing/classify) | Meeting protocol, transcript split into utterances, speakers |
| [`POST /api/audio/classify_only_transcription/`](/en/api-reference/processing/classify-transcription) | Transcript only, no protocol |

```bash theme={null}
curl -X POST https://api.aigenda.tech/api/audio/classify/ \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <access>" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"audio_id": 51234}'
```

```json Response 201 theme={null}
{ "request_id": "c0a8012e-7f3d-4b8e-9a51-2d6f0e4b9c17" }
```

You do not need `space_id` in the request: AiGenda knows which space the recording is in. You do not have to save `request_id`, because you check the status by `audio_id`.

## Minutes

Minutes are charged when you call `classify`: exactly the recording's duration in whole seconds. If processing fails, the minutes come back on their own within a couple of minutes. Before you start, make sure [the balance is enough](/en/spaces).

| Response | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `403 {"detail": "User has not available usage", "duration": 1200, "code": 1}` | Not enough minutes. `duration` holds the balance in seconds |
| `400 {"detail": "The space is not paid for", "code": 7}` | The space's plan is not paid |

## Parameters

AiGenda detects the language itself and returns it in the `result.language` field. Starting processing has no other settings.

<Warning>
  Do not start processing the same recording a second time: a repeated `classify` charges minutes again, even if the result is already ready. Wait for the outcome following the rules on the [Status and polling](/en/processing/status) page.
